We acknowledge that this land — which is named for the Ute Tribe — is the traditional and ancestral homeland of
the Goshute, Paiute, Shoshone, and Ute tribes. We are grateful to these ancestral keepers of the land for their
long-standing stewardship, the strong heritage they have passed along, and for the wisdom they hold for our
collective future.
